Message Guaranteed 2+2TT-conversion:

Step 1. Overheating/Blown or leaking headgasket:
Let Junkyard man start it up for you and let it run for 30-60 mins(longer is better) while you rev it. Then while it's still running and lifted off the ground start looking on top. underneath and sideways for any signs of overheating(eg. leaks around the water pump behind the radiator fan, additional anti-freeze flow into the overflow reservoir tank, foul smell eminating from the engine area, Block Tester to check for blowby(see here [ [ http://www.3si.org/forum/f1/coolant-combustion-product-hydro-flora-carbon-test-kit-433062/ ] ] ). What you dont see now will eventually surface after you've driven your new 2+2TT later on.

Step 2. Compression Test it when the engine is cold and after it's warmed-up.

Step 3. Leakdown Test.

Step 4. Thank the junkyard man for his time, because after spending all of this time with the Junkyard man you've seen enough to know that his #1 objective is to unload his clip inventory as fast as possible. No Junkyard man is going to be refunding you your labor costs per his 30-day refund policy. It's going to take 30 days just to realize you made a mistake buying the clip.

Step 5. Call IPP and order a freshly rebuilt TT engine. Order remaining used & new conversion parts from tt.net.
